How to Mine Raptoreum (RTM) on the MiningBoard Pool
Point any GhostRider miner at stratum+tcp://stratum.miningboard.com:4444 with your RTM wallet address as the username. No account, no signup — the pool tracks your shares by wallet and pays out on-chain automatically. Fee is 0%.
Any modern x86-64 CPU mines GhostRider, but L3 cache decides your rank — AMD Ryzen 7/9 chips are the sweet spot. GhostRider loads the CPU hard, so verify your cooler can hold sustained all-core load before mining long-term.
Mining software: cpuminer-gr is the GhostRider-optimized reference miner (run its tune mode on first start). SRBMiner-Multi and some XMRig forks also support GhostRider.
Download Raptoreum Core from the official site (or use the project's web/mobile wallets) and generate a receiving address. Back up the wallet file or seed offline — the pool pays mined RTM directly to this address.

Username = your RTM wallet address (append .rigname to label workers). Password = x.
cpuminer-gr -a gr -o stratum+tcp://stratum.miningboard.com:4444 -u <YOUR_WALLET>.rig1 -p x
SRBMiner-MULTI --algorithm ghostrider --pool stratum.miningboard.com:4444 --wallet <YOUR_WALLET>.rig1
xmrig --algo gr -o stratum+tcp://stratum.miningboard.com:4444 -u <YOUR_WALLET>.rig1 -p x
Within a minute of your first accepted share, paste your wallet address on the Raptoreum pool page to open your live miner dashboard — hashrate, workers, and pending balance, auto-refreshing. Open the Raptoreum pool page →
Rewards use PPLNS — your share of each block found, proportional to your recent work. Once your balance passes 50 RTM, the pool sends it to your wallet automatically. The pool never holds your funds longer than the payout cycle.
Raptoreum mining FAQ
What algorithm does Raptoreum use?
Raptoreum uses GhostRider, a proof-of-work algorithm that randomly chains CryptoNight and x16r-family hash functions. The randomization defeats ASICs and keeps general-purpose CPUs competitive.
Why are AMD Ryzen CPUs so good at mining Raptoreum?
Several CryptoNight variants in GhostRider's rotation are cache-bound, so hashrate scales with L3 cache size. AMD's Ryzen desktop chips carry unusually large L3 caches, which is why Ryzen 9 parts became the reference RTM mining hardware.
Can I mine Raptoreum with a GPU?
GPU miners with GhostRider support exist (e.g. SRBMiner-Multi), but per watt they rarely beat a large-cache CPU. Raptoreum is, in practice, a CPU coin.
What is the cpuminer-gr tune mode?
On first run, cpuminer-gr benchmarks every permutation of GhostRider's hash rotation on your exact CPU and stores the optimal configuration. Skipping the tune leaves real hashrate on the table; running it once is the single best optimization.
Is Raptoreum mining profitable?
CPU mining margins are thin and depend on your power price, your chip's efficiency, and RTM's market price. The upside is hardware you already own and strong resale value — check live profitability at your own electricity rate before scaling up.
